Food Safety Thought - Temporary Storage
Short term storage of items
in places where they should not be, can become a food safety risk.
Examples:
Clothing
– smocks, gloves, rags
Production
Tools – knifes, axes, scrapers
Mechanical
Tools – wrenches, nuts, bolts
Product
Containers – Tubs, barrels
Chemicals
– cleaning, lubricants
Do your part in keeping these
items in their designated places.

Food Safety Tip - Flies
Summer is here – The flies are out
Help control flies by:
Keeping outside doors closed
Insure bug lights are working properly
Use the two door system, where the inner door remains closed
if the outer door is open
Keep all finish product covered
Report any problems to QA
