MCF Bar J Wranglers Concert - Dec. 14th

Just a reminder...the MCF Bar J Wranglers Concert is this Wednesday, Dec. 14th at Utah Valley University UCCU Events Center.

• Doors at the UCCU Events Center will open at 6:15pm and the Bar J Wranglers will begin to perform about 7:30pm. 
• Concession stands will open at 6:15pm and close at 7:30pm.
• Please, no children under the age of 8.
• The handicap entrance will be on the west side ground level of the UCCU Events Center.
• Seating is assigned by your ticket (no open seating)

Directions:
I-15 exit University Parkway, exit 269, drive east on University Parkway and turn left on Sandhill Road, go around the round-about and exit westbound on College Drive.  Turn right at the UCCU Events Center.  As you approach the UCCU Events Center, parking will be on your left.

We are pleased to announce that there will be no changes in our Health and Dental Premiums for 2012. If you are currently enrolled, and do not wish to make any changes, you do not need to do anything. If you are not currently enrolled, or you wish to make changes due to marriage, birth of a child, etc., now is the time to enroll or make changes!! MCF Medical Clinic Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday

The MCF Medical Clinic will be closed Thursday & Friday, November 24 & 25, 2011 for Thanksgiving.

Midway Cabins - Pick your dates

On November 7th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm you can come to the Personnel office and submit your dates for the weekends you would like to reserve the MCF cabins in Midway.  Remember you had to work on the cabin clean-up this past spring or fall 2011 in order to qualify to use them in 2012.  If you have a special weekend you want the cabin, the sooner you are at the office the better.

Fire Safety Month

• Do you know where your primary and secondary fire exits are?
• Do you know where we meet after having been evacuated from the building for any event, including fire?
• All employees must stay in the evacuation areas until being released by a supervisor. (If you leave without being counted you may endanger another’s life as they go search for you.)
• Employees must remain outside during an evacuation till notified to return by your supervisor.

Meet Teal & Ruffles

I'm sure you've all seen our MCF resident ducks Teal and Ruffles.  I have no idea how Teal and Ruffles survive one day in the life of a duck in the MCF sanctuary! With the road construction, Swift trucks honking at them, cement trucks flying down the road, etc, they must be LUCKY DUCKS to survive that.

Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

• All authorized LOTO personnel who have had the classroom training, please get your annual LOTO inspection with Mike Stauffer or Ron Johnson right away.
• When you have completed your inspection, it is your responsibility to get your sign-off paper to Pilar for your file.

The 2010 W2's are now available in the Personnel Office.  After Jan. 31st, if you have not picked them up, they will be mailed.
