Every passenger (including guests) regardless of age will need to go through this process before Oct. 18th.

Edgar Ramirez

We are very saddened by the news that Edgar Ramirez and his family were in a car accident early yesterday morning.  Edgar and 2 of his children did not survive the crash.  Edgar worked in processing and his wife Helen works in packaging.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Helen and her 2 children for recovery and our deepest sympathy goes out to them and their families.

MCF Photo History Wall

We are in the process of creating a MCF Photo History Wall.  If you have any old photos of MCF that you would like to submit, we would love to include them as part of our MCF Photo History Wall or MCF Photo Archive.  You can upload to the MCF Photo Archive (click HERE for instructions) or you can give your photos to Leslie (leslie.bodily@mcfoods.com or 801-894-1110) in the main office to be scanned and returned.

HRA (Health Risk Assessment)

If you would like to participate in the upcoming HRA (Health Risk Assessment), please contact Kris in the Personnel Office.  Appointments are available Wednesday (9/1) and Friday (9/3).  For the types of testing that Dr. Kelly will be doing, you will need to fast for 12 hours in advance except for water.

Testing will include:
  • Weight
  • Height
  • BMI (Body Mass Index)
  • Waist circumference
  • Blood pressure
  • LDL (bad ) cholesterol
  • HDL (good) cholesterol
  • Triglycerides
  • Blood sugar

MCF Ranch Rules

  • Employee must participate in campground clean up to be eligible to use MCF Ranch
  • No alcohol allowed on the premises
  • No shooting
  • No fireworks
  • All grey and black water must be disposed of at marked dumping station
  • Clean up after your pets
  • Keep your pets in your own area
  • Clean up after yourself (including taking garbage out with you when you leave).
  • Respect fellow campers
  • 1 week stay limit
  • No unattended fires
  • Fires allowed in fire pits only
  • Employees are responsible for guests and their actions at all times
  • All motor vehicles must stay on designated trails
  • Fishing is allowed
  • All county/state laws must be followed
  • MCF is not liable for personal injury or property damage
If MCF Ranch Rules are not followed, campground privileges will be permanently taken away and termination from MCF will be possible.

Mountain Country Ranch - Campground Clean Up

Did you know that Mountain Country Foods has a new campground for employees and their families? 
Volunteers are  needed to help clear brush, trim trees and generally clean the area.

We have moved all Spanish Classes to the offices in the MCF Distribution Center.  We are looking to add 1 or 2 more intermediate Spanish students.  It is a very fun group of students and an excellent instructor!
